Polarization-Dependent Absorption and Transmission Metasurfaces for Linearly and Circularly Polarized Light in Terahertz Band

Polarization detection is an important part of many polarization applications such as imaging, wireless communication, and circular dichroism spectroscopy. In this paper, two polarization-dependent terahertz wave absorption transmission metasurface for linearly circularly polarized light are proposed proved by numerical simulations. filtering integrated on a single cell, the orthogonal component transmitted absorbed, respectively. The structure can obtain extinction ratio 11.5 dB over 270 at 3 THz. Moreover, 8.1 4.66 2.8 Our design facilitates acquisition full Stokes parameters high-resolution imaging.
